Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
Having faith means that you should act on what you know by faith. You may not have faith like Abraham, Peter, or Paul, but the Bible says that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20)! So if you know by faith that you will get better or recover from a sickness, then follow doctor’s orders, while taking care of your mind and body in a way that supports healing. If you know by faith that you’re going to get a job or promotion, then dress, walk, talk, be a team player and go the extra mile at work. Don’t be afraid of the things you have faith for, embrace them. Plan for them.
What do you have faith for? Make a list of things you should do to support what you have faith for. If you don’t know what to do: Ask God. He will tell you. James 1:5 (King James Version) says: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Do you have an incredible faith story? If you do, tell us!
Until next time, “Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might!”
