Have you ever awakened in a cold sweat because you were afraid of what the day might bring? Has anything ever made your hands shake, or you blood run cold? For those who say “never,” I have this to say: Just live. Continue to live.

If humanity was the only and last hope of mankind, then we all would have good reason to “shake in our boots.” The promise of secular humanism, post modernist philosophy, and atheism is that humanity is the last, desperate hope of mankind. Praise GOD that truth is absolute and not relative. Praise GOD than He cannot be thought out of existence just because the majority of human beings find GOD, (and subsequently absolute truth), to be an inconvenience.
Jesus Christ, through His atoning death for the sins of mankind, made it possible for man to be reconciled to GOD. A byproduct or benefit of this reconciliation is that believers can receive wisdom, protection, and inner peace. There are many believers who do not accept the promise of inner peace given to us by God.
There are those who worry by compulsion, and there are those who worry because they fear to trust GOD with their lives and circumstances. It is written:
Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Isaiah 26:3 (KJV) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Matthew 6:34 (New Living Translation) 34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Psalm 127:2 (KJV) It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
It is important for those who claim the name of Jesus to know that the habit of worrying is a severe problem. Please do not fall for the temptation to make light the habit of worrying and fretting. Why? Because worry is an accusation against Almighty GOD that He cannot or will not take care of you. Any behavior based upon the inherent belief that GOD is a liar is satanic in origin. The use of the word satanic may seem to some to be an exaggeration. The next post will take a closer look at Psalm 127:2. b
