Sunday Morning Meditation: Quietness & Confidence

The words of The LORD are blessings without measure and eternal comfort to the weary souls who struggle daily here on earth. Our Savior “is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” He comes “quickly” though He seems by our time to tarry. The Bible tells us: “In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15) Let us then wait on The LORD, and not be afraid to put our confidence in Him. How long must our Savior plead His love and constancy before we learn to stand within and rest upon Him? When we finally abandon our apprehension? There is no safer place in the universe than to trust in Jesus. Let us therefore, neither hesitate nor pause to confide in and trust Him with Whom there is total holiness and no shadow of turning. We can trust Him with all that pertains to our life, health, strength and safety. He is ever faithful Who gave Himself for our salvation. He is mighty to save “to the uttermost” them that are lost. Lord grant me the strength to walk in the footsteps of our righteous LORD this day and everyday. Amen, and Amen, and Amen!!

Don’t forget to Bless the name of the Lord, and be a blessing to someone today.

Until we meet again: “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)
