In our world of instant text messaging, smart phones and email, we can immediately contact anyone, as long as we have the proper information. We live longer, though not as long as in Biblical times. With so many ways to speed up gratification, people become increasingly impatient. Because “now’ has such a high priority in our lives, it’s hard to imagine far distant times, or beings and things that never end. Yet every soul is eternal, and even in the physical world, matter is neither created nor destroyed. The Lord our God is eternal. There is never a time when He was not. He reaches “from everlasting to everlasting.” The word for today is #everlasting:
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Psalm 90:2,4 KJV
Lean on Jesus’ “everlasting arms” today!
