The Word for Today Is: (Humble Yourself and) #Pray

Prayer is a powerful weapon. and a citadel of hope. Because prayer changes things, two of the most important things you can do in life are to thank God for His goodness and plead for His help. But prayers from proud, selfish, lips go no where. Next time you think Heaven’s ear is made of brass, consider the state of your own soul. Humble yourself, repent, pray, and seek God’s face. Then watch how things change. The word for today is #pray. May you do it often and in humility.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Friends, as you encounter difficulties: Humble yourself and pray. When face-to-face with your enemies: Humble yourself and pray. Turn from your wicked ways and pray. Pray in abundance and in lack, in illness and in health. Prayers tear down the walls of obstruction that the enemy builds in your life. Prayer is the path to victory over evil. When you praise, the Lord lifts up your head and strengthens your arms. Praise blesses your work, lightens your burdens, and unleashes healing for every situation in your life.

So, in certainty and in doubt, pray! Pray without ceasing!

Until next time: “Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might!”
