Just Be Thankful

2 Cor 3:17-18  (KJV)

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Just Be Thankful

The cords of righteousness which bind us to repentance and life in Christ are sweet. Through the scarlet twine of His righteousness and love we are led safely out of the labyrinth of darkness. For this I am forever grateful: That my life is not food for demons. I am so thankful to the LORD because He has made it possible for me to know a portion of what His plans are. I am grateful that I see His face in the smiles and kindness of others. I thank my Abba Father for allowing me to move from faith to faith, and to witness His beauty from glory to glory. I praise God for every good and perfect gift and every grace. I am grateful to God for every good report and for the assurance that He is no less powerful, no less beautiful and no less faithful when reports are frightening to hear, or when the witness before me is the emissary of evil.

I am thankful that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty from fear, hate, intimidation, restlessness, low self esteem, envy and strife. Where the spirit of the Lord is, I am free to worship, rejoice and be at peace regardless of my circumstances. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, my eyes are free to see God’s glory. By the power of the Holy Spirit I am transformed by and into the image of God’s glory. I praise God for the mind of Christ.

What matchless gifts we have been given! What power resides in our GOD and our Savior, Who daily instructs us by His precious Holy Spirit. May we never grieve You, LORD! Grant us access to Your strength wherein we may stand victorious.

May these words comfort you today. Until we meet again: “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)
